If they existed it was under a different nomenclature.<\/p>\n\n<p>We used to say <em>multimedia<\/em> a lot. Or <em>interactive<\/em>. Or just the <em>Internet<\/em>. The world wide web was still finding its identity. I personally loved Netscape and the 6 floppy disks I needed to install on my computer (and I paid approximately 35 quid for it in 1995, can you believe it?). But I digress.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alexmcc.com\/webagency\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/08\/netscape-navigator-2-01-preview.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-580\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.alexmcc.com\/webagency\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/08\/netscape-navigator-2-01-preview.png 450w, https:\/\/www.alexmcc.com\/webagency\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/08\/netscape-navigator-2-01-preview-300x200.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><figcaption><em>Netscape 2 hits the shelves<\/em> at only 35\u00a3 and 6 floppy disks<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Regardless of the name, no one was doing just the web. You were either a company having technical skills, or a company with design skills. No one yet truly went 100% web. <\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsinteractive.com\/blog\/ws-agency-museum-1998\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The first customer we ever got on our own was because we were 100% web.<\/a> They liked from the start that we could bring together the high tech and the creativity. And the recognition that the web was a communication channel for businesses. Much has evolved since then, but then again, it\u2019s still about high tech and creativity.
